Medical Community Doula
The Medical Community training is an dual training covering a birth doula with a postpartum specialty. Trainees will receive two separate certificates as:

Postpartum Doula
The medical doula training is available to professionals within the healthcare industry. This includes those serving birthing people, infants and/or the whole family unit. By enrolling in this training, medical staff will be positively exposed to the black and brown community with the goal of breaking systematic racism and bias.
What will you learn?
The MC trainees can expect to learn how to:

converse with and guide BIPOC, AI and Hispanic populations

understand cultural differences and implement congruent practices

support community doulas with client continuity of care and other medical providers

challenge and advocate against systemic bias and racism to BIPOC, AI, Hispanic, Medicaid and/or urban populations

support families through the scope of a doula and medical while maintaining medical professionalism

How long is the training?
The PCH training is 3 days.
When does the training open?
